I think I found a new vet!
They are near the house. I am going to use the Friends of Animals program to have Pastina spayed. I called up the vet and asked the receptionist a MILLION questions.
Finally, she was like, 'Mom, it's okay. For us, this is major surgery, but for the vets, this is a very routine procedure. And, she can come home on the same day that you drop her off'
I also asked about a bunch of the stuff our regular vet recommended. The lady said that we did everything that she needs, but there are a couple other things that aren't necessary- like doing an EKG test on a 6 month old puppy.
I think we might have a winner!
