UPDATED!!!!!!!!!!!! OK.... So while I still Loooove the dress I originally asked you all about, my MOH tried it on today and it wasn't all I needed it to be. First, the color I was hoping for was more purple than red (I wanted something Merlot-looking for that dress). The cut was a little discriminating in the bust area, meaning, if you don't have boobs, you REALLY don't look like you have boobs and if you have boobs, you HAVE boobs in this dress.
It's still a contender but while we were at the bridal store (we went to Lynbrook Bridal and while the women were very helpful, it got real crowded real quick and there are only 2 dressing rooms for trying on BM dresses.... very inconvenient...) we had fun trying on all different BM dresses. In the midst of all of this trying on, I think I found another one I really really like!!! I love the color, it's the champane that I always wanted but could never find in a dress and there's a slight train which I was wanting so we could bustle the dress a little bit (got this idea from another bride... very pretty). It also has the brown color that I want too....
Anyway, enough beating around the bush.... honest opinions please!

I'm still deciding. I really love the color that the dress is shown in and I've been leaning towards something like that or navy blue... I've always loved champagne too, but I haven't seen anything that's blown me away.
That's a beautiful dress. I honestly love the champaigne color, it's very classy and classic. Both the burgindy and navy are very nice too but champaigne is more my style with that dress.

Usually I'm so hesitant to share any ideas I have with any other BM's except for my MOH and MOH loved it and I absolutely LOVED it, so I sent it out to all of my BMs and so far the response is exactly the same as mine! I've even called Phyllis at Bridal Elegance and she quoted me a price and everything! I think this is the one ladies!!! I'm so glad you all like it too because as silly as it sounds, I don't know if I would like it as much if you guys didn't like it... is that wierd!?! haha!

yeah, the color choices are kind limited with this one too (no pink & orange sorry). but luckily i love the brown/champagne combo

i love the second dress better than the first one.
only one thing about the 2nd dress....it sits very LOW in the back.....therfore it may not fit every body type very well. as a full-figured girl myself, i know that i wouldn't feel comfortable at all in a dress that sits so low. i don't know if it's just cause it's a little big on your MOH that tried it on--but if you have any plus sized girls in the party, i don't think that would look as great on them

Excellent point... I'll keep that in mind. I think that the dress sits higher than it appeared on my MOH... it was a size 14 so it was hard to pin onto her size 6 frame. But thanks for sticking that in my head... I'll have to bring my sisters, who are on the bigger end of the spectrum to try it on. Thanks!!

i lovee that dress.. im wearing it in the tea length for my best friends wedding..and my sister is wearing a different combo for her friends wedding.. its apparently a verry popular dress..def because it looks great on everyone.. i cant really tell from the picture but just in case they didnt tell you it comes in 2 fabrics.. one is a lighter material.. (i forget what its called) and then the satin.. GREAT PICk!!!
