First time out!! I saw the dress on theknot and just knew. Went to Paula Varsalona in the city today with my mom and my MOH after work and I think that this is the one!! Actually, I know it! WHOO HOO!!!

It's gorgoues! I really like the way the material is on the top. (having a LOT of trouble being articulate this morning).
LIJuneBride - it's a silk tafetta blend. My grandmother would be so proud if I got it - a virtually wrinkeless dress!!

Paloma Blanca makes one that looks just like it, except it's chiffon and that looks like silk. Both very pretty dresses.

I am so happy for you- congratulations! I am so glad that you went to her salon! did you work with Jude (the blond)- they are so great there! You know I am wearing a Paula Varsalona dress too and I love their dresses! Are you going to buy it there or from an online retailer?

Thank you!! Yes, Jude was awesome, she totally knew her job so well. I'm jealous of her daughter when she gets married - she'll probably have her pick at cost!
This is the question of the day! I've been calling around to see if I can get quotes but she's really difficult to find. I emailed houseofbrides.com with all my concerns so hopefully they'll get back to me. The difference comes out to more than 50% with tax and everything - how could I not, right? But at the same time, how could I??

I don't know the extent of their selection, but I bought my Paula Varsalona at Macy's Bridal in Manhassett.
