I think I have to say good-bye for a while

Fiance and I have hit a rocky patch in our relationship and I need to take a step back from the whole wedding scene.

This is the hardest thing I have to do- we have been together for 7 years (tomorrow is our anniversary) and I need to do this for us. He is the type that keeps pushing, and I'm not. He brings up good points and I have to face the fact that he is right. I want to show him and myself I can set my mind to something and achieve it.

I want my relationship with him to work so I will say good bye for now, hopefully I will be back in a few months with much better news.

Thank you all for the advice you have posted. I know I will miss you guys!!

So sorry to hear you are goign through this...but do know that couples go through this frequently during the wedding process.

We did the same thing when we first got engaged in 07. We took a year off of wedding planning and enjoyed ourselves, traveled, and spent time with each other. I wish you the best of luck -things will get better.
