I think I made a mistake in choosing a BM. Any advice??

Right before I had my engagement party I told my close friend that I went to high school w/ I wanted her to be in the bridal party. Well for the past 11 months I've been having these second thoughts. First I heard she was saying these petty things behind my back.(which I know are true) Then she made some comments to me that I didn't like. But most of all two weeks ago I went out with her and her boyfriend to to have drinks. Well do make a long story short they both got drunk got into a fight. She left him and started walking to another bar. Yelling and screaming making a hug scene, I was trying to tell her calm down it will be ok and she was going nuts screaming and yelling a cursing at ME and other friends. She was also making derogatory comment to people walking by.
I was so embarrassed and upset should would talk to me that way or even others.
So I ended up having to ride home w/ other friends that were thankfully there. Also this isn't the first time she's acted this way when drinking. I haven't and refuse to speak to her. It seems like she has no class. Now I feel she could ruin my wedding. She can SOMETIMES be unreliable. I think I made a mistake in choosing her. What should I do?

Tell her you changed your mind.

She sounds like she has a drinking problem to me if she has done this before. Some people just can't tolerate their liquor. But I would be worried like you. Considering that most people drink before, during and after a wedding, I would be worried that she would be drunk and be an *** walking down the isle. Has she called to apologize to you? If I did wat she did, I sure would have called you the next day to apologize. After the way she spoke and embarrassed you, I can only think that she knows she is not welcome in the bridal party anymore after the way she treated you. If you want her in the BP still, I would definitely get in touch with her and tell her what your feeling and see if she responds positively and apoligizes, or if she becomes defensive. If she gets defensive, then that is your chance right there to tell her you don't want her to be in your bridal party because she does not treat you like a friend should!! I hope it all works out for you!!

Thanks, for the advice. She called a few like 2 days later and left message on my cell saying' sorry bout the other night. When i drink and get into a fight w/ my boyfriend I cant have people trying to calm me down thats just how I am' well I mean thats just like saying THATS HOW I AM AND IM NOT GONNA CHANGE. Im just to mad to even talk to her. People are like you already asked to be in the bridal party you can't turn back now. But I think she ruin it. She also can be unreliable

I feel bad saying this but i would drop her..you wedding day is supposed to be the happiest day of your life. ANd if i felt for one second that she would ruin that in any way...I would drop her. BUT if you feel that her presence will be greatly missed that day, maybe talk to her honestly how you feel about the situation and how she acts when she drinks too much
