I think I made my RSVP dates too late!

How much time do you have between the invitation mailing and RSVP date?

My b-list RSVP date is May 11th for my May 26th wedding.

A-listers had 4 weeks to mail back invitations. B-listers will have 3 weeks.

That sounds right to me. When do you need to give a final head count?

We only have A-listers and our RSVP date is about a month before the wedding -- If you've got b-listers, you sort of need to make the RSVP date a little later if possible (we won't have this luxury as we only had one set of invites ready).

At any rate, you can't change it, so don't worry about it. Just call anyone who didn't respond by the RSVP date (or have your parents or FILs call where appropriate).

Everyone will have people who don't respond... part of the fun of weddings!

That's fine. Some of your B-listers might figure out that they're B-listers but you really can't worry about it.

Some people called or emailed telling us they got our invitations and that they look forward to our wedding.

Does that count as an RSVP?

I should talk. I've only mailed in 1 RSVP card of about 10 weddings I've attended.

Depends on when you need the headcount..
I think you are OK though...

We did 3 weeks, only one list, I am nervous it was too late also, but at this point I'm just going with it

My RSVP date was 5 weeks before the wedding. We gave our final headcount about 6 days before the wedding. Your date is fine. Just make sure you start calling those who don't respond by the date immediately.
