I think I want a new dress

I am sweating right now even thinking about this but. I feel like I don't like my gown anymore. I ordered it in January, it still has not come in and my mother would literally kill me since she paid for my gown.

I keep looking at the dress the FuturemrsM is wearing, the Kenneth Poole and I love it.

I don't know what to do. I have pics of my dress in my album, take a look and give me your HONEST opinion please

First, let me say that I can totally relate to where you are coming from. I bought my dress my first day of shopping and have questioned my decision on occassion, wondering if I really made the right choice or if I should have looked further.

But, in all honesty - I love your dress! It looks as though it was made for you! Your waist loooks so tiny it, it fits you beautifully - and that is just the sample! If you'd like more beading, I am sure that that is something they could always add on for you, but I think it is perfect the way it is!

That's the downfall of being forced to order a dress so far in advance is that it gives you the time to second guess yourself....Your dress is beautiful and was very flattering...Go with your first instict and know you made the right choice the first time around.

Ahhhh that's the EXACT same thing (to the 'T') that I did! I agree with Jenn, go try it on (that's what I did with 2 dresses) and you'll know whether or not that should be the dress for you. One of them wasn't and the other KP was. You don't want to second guess your gown, and as much as I love the other gown I purchased I can't imagine myself wearing anything other than my KP dress

i think because some dresses need to be ordered so early it leaves time us to second guess our choices.

i agree with the other girls, go try it on again.. give yourself a little reminder of what you loved about it.

i love your dress, but we all must go through this, i have been contemplating on this for some time, i wish i went w/ less detail and more of a strait bottom, but i love your gown.

your dress is gorgeous and looks great on you...its normal to second guess, its funny though about that specific KP dress bc melissa kept thinking about that one too and did change it to that. I love that dress too and it is gorgeous, but i also dont think it would look great on me...i say stay with your dress but if its something that you think will keep bothering you and make you unhappy then maybe try it on just to see if you even like how it looks on you.

Your dress is pretty!
Go visit it this weekend and try it on again and fall in love with it again. I have to do that every once in a while to reconfirm that it's MY dress. It happens when you buy your dress so early.

the dress looks amazing on you - i found a dress that i love and i cant stop thinking about it BUT im afraid to buy it because im afraid in a few months ill change my mind - i think us girls are all like this.....we need to pick out a wedding dress so soon before the wedding - and to have to wait so long to wear it leaves a lot of time for us to change our minds or question ourselves.....also we see soooo many beautiful brides and dresses on this site - if i never went on this site i think i could have bought that dress and never looked back because i dont really look at magazines and i would have stopped searching designers on the internet - but when you see real girls in their dresses on this site and they look so beautiful you start to wonder how you would look in their gown - at least that is how i feel....

all i can say is that i really think that dress is pretty and even though i dont you personally i feel like that dress fits you......it looks right on you is what im trying to say.....

i think its normal for you to be second guessing yourself but if you really really HAVE to then go try on the other dress - but id also go back and try on yours! you might get that feeling again while you are wearing it.....

I think your dress is beautiful. But, I completely understand what your going through. Every so often I wonder 'could I have found a better, prettier dress..did I buy the right one?' I think we all do that. It's very normal.

I have been having the same doubts. I ordered my dress, but have since seen 2-3 dresses I also love on here that I never tried on. I'm just going to stick with my dress, because I picked it for a reason.

One thing that helped me was going back to the place and taking pictures of myself in the dress. I have them on my computer so I can look back on it, since I've never seen my dress posted on here and am constantly surrounded by pictures of other beautiful dresses.

i totally understand how you feel, It took me so long to decide on a dress, I tried on over 150 dresses. at soo many stores.

I have read many stories on LIF and the newlywed board about how many girls wish they would of tried on more. Its surprises me at how some girls only tried on 1 or 2 dresses and made a choice, when there is so much out there. One girl recently, her name is Lools she just got married really regretted her dress choice.

I think you should try it on, and then hopefully your dress will be the one for you!

i am a little biased because thats the dress that i picked too (i think- does it have a detachable train?). anyway- in the pictures it looks beautiful on you!
