I think I want a new dress

I am sweating right now even thinking about this but. I feel like I don't like my gown anymore. I ordered it in January, it still has not come in and my mother would literally kill me since she paid for my gown.

I keep looking at the dress the FuturemrsM is wearing, the Kenneth Poole and I love it.

I don't know what to do. I have pics of my dress in my album, take a look and give me your HONEST opinion please

NOooooooo r u kidding, ur dress is stunning!!!!!!! Do you realize what a beautiful train u have and great details. DOnt make urself crazy over this, u choose this dress for a reason

Jess - while I LOVE you in your dress, I think you should go try on the KP or any other dress.

A few weeks ago I read a Newlywed thread where a few girls discussed how they wished they went with a diff dress. I would hate to see that happen to anyone else.

Go try on your dress and the KP dress - take pics and see how you feel then. I guarantee you'll love your dress even more.

I had the same freakout -- I think everyone does eventually. You picked your dress for a reason and it is going to look BEAUTIFUL on your wedding day!

Jess I gone for a few days and come on and find this post! Have you gone insane?!?!?! Your dress is gorgeous and I'm not just saying that because your my liweddings bff twin! Honestly! You look amazing in your gown. Your waist looks sooo tiny and you just look absolutely stunning!

Jess I have been through this 3x already with my dress! Your dress is beautiful! You have to just remember how much you love it and how you felt in it and that you picked it for a reason, there is always going to be something out there that is beautiful and newer...but your dress is your dress because you loved it. We have to stop looking so we don't make ourselves certifably insane!

Thanks to all that responded

I just called Macys and asked what would happen if I wanted a new dress and they explained that since I had a hollow to hem, they can't send it back.

But she told me that they could add some siler beadwork if I wanted once my dress came in so thats good. She also said that over 50% of brides second guess their dress and when mine comes in after the holidays I will try it on and see waht I think.

Can you believe it is taking 12 months for my dress to come in

I ended up buying two dresses. I bought the first one way too quick and I kept thinking about the second one ( I had never tried it on just saw it in a magazine) I couldnt stop thinking about it and one day I went to RK Bridal in the city all by myself without telling anyone to go try it on that way if it didnt look good I could let my mind rest. Well, I tried it on and fell in love. I told my mom what happened and she understood. Although, I paid for my dress. I think your dress is absolutely stunning but maybe you should go try on your dress again and the KP dress to get it off your chest or you will keep driving yourself nuts.

I completely agree that your dress is BEAUTIFUL!!!! I love it on you and you look great....
BUT- if you are thinking about another dress- what about wearing one to the church and the other to the RH?

Just a thought... The one you have is so pretty on you!! But it HAS to be your choice!!

OK now here comes the date twin to put her two cents in. Your dress is absolutley STUNNING!!! and you look fabulous in it. If i wasnt getting married on the exact same day I would come to your ceremony and just stare at it. Dont second guess yourself!

i think your dress is beautiful!!! BUT i understand how you feel!! I changed my dress a few months back but now i wouldn't change it for the world. Truthfully sooo many new dresses come out and you just have to stop looking!! If you loved your dress when you bought it then that is your dress!! It really is beautiful!!!

Jess seriously I do the same exact thing!!!! I go through phases...i love it and then I think its not special enough.....its a big decision but in the end its just a dress!!! I LOVE YOUR DRESS!!! Its gorgeous!!! i think you look beautiful in it! I wouldn't stress...you're going to be a stunning bride! I say keep it...plus that veil is spectacular with it!

im not saying this to make u feel better, im saying this because its what i believe. i seriously love your dress!! ithink it is so pretty and the detail is beautiful. i went through the same thing u are goign through too. i was sick over it ..literally! i though i was going to throw up. but the more i thought about it i realized why i picked my dress to begin with. what ur going through is totally normal....id keep the dress!
