i was freaking out over this yesterday. these tips are ridiculous. my friend told me to budget $2,000 for tips.

Just the tip for the maitre'd alone will kill me.
I think I have 3.... that is just ridiculous.... I can't possibly give them all that much, I will be homeless....

You know I didn’t even have tips in my budget lol I guess I need to re evaluate.

As far as at the RH do we tip : Doorman, Bartender, Restroom lady, Valet?

Or is that strictly guests...?

thats totally guests.

im so angry. u pay sooo much.. and then they try and make u feel bad 'oh their salary is tips' well u know what??? get another fkn job then if ur sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo unhappy. like cmmon! or pay your staff!!

bartenders get tips on my GUESTS. im not guna shell out more money.and im most certainly not going to tip the bathroom attendants. if they choose to sit in a bathroom handing out towels for aliving,t hats their perogative. if anything, they can keep the bathroom basket. tons of expensive shyt will be left in there.
