I Think I'm going to Cry

I just called bridal salon to make an appointment for MOH to get measured and order her dress. Naturally I asked about mine. I was told I can't go visit it when it comes in, that it goes straight to storage until first fitting in August!!!

I am completely heartbroken. I thought I was going to see it in @ 6 weeks.

I would say I want to see it!! DEMAND to, God forbid there was something wrong, or it's the wrong dress!!

WHAT!?! I would tell them NO DICE!! I am a paying customer and I want to make sure my dress is in and SEE IT to make sure there are no mistakes!!! CALL THEM BACK AND RAISE HELL!!!!

They really cannot treat you that way. I think you should be able to make an appointment to see your dress when it comes in, and then they can put it in storage. You are paying them a lot of money, and they need to let you see your dress to make sure it is the right one.

Mines in storage too! It came in back in december and I havent seen it yet. My 1st fitting is on the 23rd of this month. I finally get to see it.

Awe Im sorry.

You could be in my situation. Wedding is in Sept...dont need to start fittings until July (which give me ample time to lose more weight). I asked if I could come see my dress and try it on, I was told if I try it on its consdiered a fitting and they would alter the dress....BUT I DONT WANT TO GET FITTED YET...ITS TOO EARLY.

so i'll just have to settle with 'seeing' it to ensure they ordered the right dress..

My place tried to pull that crap with me and I wasn't having it. I told them if I wanted to stand in the middle of Sunrise Highway with it on I would....now let me see my dress!

Good thing 'cuz IT WAS WRONG!!!!!!!!!!

No 18' of extra train I ordered.......what would have happened if I didn't demand to see it.?.....ummmm I would have freaked out even worse..........

Seriously...the first time my dress came in it was the wrong color beading! I had a fit.

I agree here too! What the heck is that c***? Definitly demand to see it, my friend had all sorts of trouble w/ her's, and even when they ordered her new dresses, they came in messed up before they were even opened!

Thanks ladies. I knew you would all get me to grow a backbone. I'm going with my sister to order her dress on the 18th and I will speak with the manager about seeing it before it goes into storage. I would call back, but I'd rather do it face to face.
