i think im losing the xmas spirt

For my birthday this year it was just another day, and it just didnt feel like my b-day and for today it just another day again it doesnt feel like xmas at all. I went to my g-mas house and i dont think that she is going to make it another xmas at all she didnt even remember me or my sister. it just so sad that im felling out of this stuff, i uses to love xmas and my b-day and now they just feel like any other day. Does that happen as you get old or is it just me????

aww dont feel like that.. i think we all go through this cycle.. onces you have kids, it's going to change again... and it's fun again.. then when your kids get older it's not going to be the same until you have grandkids... it's a cycle.. and i know where you're coming from, it doesn't feel the same anymore...

this christmas just didnt feel right!!! with out my grammy and my puppy!!!! they both passed in the last few months. the fh and i were talking about the whole thing on how its just another day b/c its the transition yrs... its been your chilldhood and ur childrens childhood... we lose the spirit until the kids are born then the magic of christmas will come back!!!!!

Since my brother passed away it hasn't felt like Christmas in 2 years.

I think we definitely all go through times in our lives where Christmas isn't soo FESTIVE.. for whatever reason it may be... but just focus on the positives.. and you will regain taht spirit again!

Aww we go through a Christmast like that once in a while and don't feel like you are losing your Christmas spirit. The first Christmas as man and wife it'll bring everything rushing back.

i know the feeling, i love the christmas season but just lately im like eh.. its just another day. but i have a 9 year old sister so she brings back the christmas spirit for me thankfully. but every year its just a little less special then the one before it seems.

Second, I've noticed the older you get the less special the holidays/birthdays feel. Sorry about your grandma, that really stinks. Hope you're feeling better soon!
