Right now, my hair is all blonde and quite long (for me anyway). Now, i don't want to cut my hair because I'm trying to do the long thing much to my dismay (I can barely ever get a brush thru this long hair ). Anyway, my sister is a hairdresser and I was thinking of having her lighten my hair on top (make it blonder than it already is) and then darken the underneath part. Nothing too dark, but darker than I've ever had it before (I've neve done anything but hi-light my hair and even then it's been blonde hi-lights). Does this make any sense? If it does... what do you think?? I know it's only hair which is why I'm leaning towards doing it, but I get a little nervous.... Opinions please!!!

I think that would look really good on you! I love the darker hair underneath..especially on blonde hair..it gives such a nice contrast!

You're the best!!!
I haven't done drastic since I was in high school when I cut all of my hair off... It was SHOOOOOORT! Since then, I've been kind of plain jane. I'm ready to spice it up a bit girls!

this is what i did 2 days after getting engaged... a before and after ..fh almost died
I love it! I typically like shorter hair better... it looks neater (not neat like 'cool', but neat like 'tidy'). With my long hair, you can flip me upside down and mop the floor with me.

OK, so I found a pic kind of showing what I want. She's a bride on here and I think Diane was in her wedding... but she actually posted on LIF and I really hope she doesn't mind me showboating her hair
Anyway, my would probably look different because my hair is so light already... but this is the general idea....

If you want to do it, I say go for it! I myself have never did any thing to my hair (color- or highligtwise).. I have Virgin hair. But I was lucky enough to be born w/ lt. brown hair & natural blonde highlights (in the summer I look dirty blonde) which I LOVE!~!

Enough bragging
I think I'm going to do it. Now, the tough part is going to be getting my sister to do it for me. She never has time!

Hi, gray hairs are coming in and don't seem to be stopping.
I think I need to do something about it asap before I go crazy.
Can anyone recommend a good color in the box? I heard that the natural essence kind (I thnk thats what its called) is really bad for your hair...? Any thoughts?
Kim, you'd look like a sex kitten with that hair! You vamp, you. Mreowwwwwww!
