Ok SO FI proposed on Christmas. I was SO excited ! We booked hall, church and DJ/video in January. I have no desire to do anything else. Is this bad? Am I going to be paying for it when I go to book a photographer ( I want to use Patken) florist, etc. I feel like I was planning crazy (all I ever talked about) now I'm just like OK I had enough I'll do the rest next year. Anyone else feel like this????Sorry just had to vent

Oh, you've got time. You're getting married a week after me, and I don't have my florist yet. I would say to try to get the photographer soon, so that they don't book up. But other than that, I think you're doing fine for time.

I know that there is a lot of time but when I read some post and see how much people have done I'm like wooo nelly maybe I need to get out there and start booking like crazy !

I would book the photographer, and then you can wait on everything else. FH and I have been on a booking hiatus for 3 months now and won't be doing anymore wedding related booking or planning until August.

I think you have plenty of time. I did the same thing. I got engaged, booked my hall, photo/video and DJ and now I'm taking a break for a couple of months. I know people who have planned a wedding in 6 months so I don't think you have to worry about being behind.

Don't sweat it. If you get too crazy thing of me! Only 10 months left and all I have done is the church and hall (and DJ of course - FH is a DJ so that was a no brainer). I haven't even looked at dresses and don't plan to until the middle of June. I can't get into it so I am not going to worry about it. It will all work out.

You more done than me and I'm getting married before you. Don't stress, you have time. I felt like I have been slacking too. But not going to make myself crazy by stressing.
