I think it would be nice if everyone posted a picture...

I posted a picture of me and FH in my profile today. It was easy to to. I think it would be nice if everyone did it. We all 'talk' everyday so it would be nice if we could have an idea of who we`re talking to. For those who don`t know how, here are instructions. Go to Planning page and login on the left. Click on My Profile, and click on 'browse'. This will open up a window from your computer to highlight a file (make sure you know where your pic is saved on your computer). Highlight the file and click 'open', this will transfer the location of the file onto the profile page. Click update on the bottom of the profile page and whammo- your pic will be on your profile page! Make sure to post a meesage to let everyone know when your pic is uploaded!

But the only pictures I have, the file is too big, and you're limited to file size. And my scanner is broken :(

I can teach you how to make it smaller..

Marnles and everyone else, here`s how to change the size of a picture

If you have windows, you can do the following, its very simple, and I have explained it step by step so even if you have no idea what to do, its a no-brainer... Click on start on the lower left hand side of your computer. Click on Accessories Click on Imaging When the program opens, click file (upper left hand side of menu bar) When menu drops down, click on open Locate your picture and double click on it to open When picture is visible, RIGHT click on it Select Properties from that menu Click on 'Size' Change 'inches' to 'pixels' Change the width to say 277 and height to say 197 Click OK Click on File Click on Save Now your picture has been re-sized, and you can proceed to upload it. Ladies, Please let me know if you need more help.

Marnles and everyone else, here`s how to change the size of a picture

Grrr... I must be pixel-impaired. It didn't work for me. It keeps saying that the picture has to be 280 x 210 pixels, and when I change to that it STILL doesn't work. : (

It didn't work for me either.

I couldn't change mine to pixel. That section was not highlighted.

I was able to go to Imaging and bring up my picture, but Properties isn't an option for me when I right-click on the picture. Any suggestions? Thanks!
