Like I said, A Sunday in Nov might be in your budget then cause my prices were for a Saturday in a peak time frame.

Mr. Russo is very reasonable as well, also a family owned business. I would check it out. Can't hurt to make an appt. You def get bang for your buck there.

Lindenhurst. Alot of girls on here either got married there or are getting married there. Do a search. I almost got married there but found out that's where my friend is getting married and I want to be different. Her wedding is first so people would think I am copying..lol

When I was looking for wedding places, food was important. Many people told me East Wind was the best food they had ever had. I didn't want to be on north shore, but checked it out and fell in love with the Estate building (Estate at East Wind).

I read your post and automatically thought Lombardi's, but so did everyone else.

Someone mentioned Villa Lombardi's - they do have awesome food & an amazing reputation. I see you're looking to get married on a Sunday in November? Definitely check out Lombardi's on the Sound - the Port Jeff Country Club. They have an amazing winter package going on, which they extended to November - you could book for less than $80 per head.

def check out Russo's on the Bay (my family is italian and so i have been to many family events here), amazing food and service, also the Inn at New Hyde Park

I love how you always recommend the Inn!! I second that but, because I also hate to suggest only my hall, I would also recommend Russo's or any of the Lombardi establishments. The Royalton in Roslyn also has amazing food - but I think its more nouveau cuisine than continental. Floral Terrace has great food too - they are def in your price range.

Yea, definitely check them out. It's really nice - you have to drive through this housing development (all huge beautiful houses) & the country club is up on the hill - nice & secluded. They're right on the sound & they only do 1 wedding at a time. Really nice place & very affordable. Good luck!

hahaha That's exactly what my fiance & I said when we drove through there the other day. Only in our dreams...

there are so many great ones to see!

Russo's, the watermill, all the lombardi's like other ppl have mentioned. We're booked at the Woodlands and I haven't tried the food yet, but everyone says its amazing! I have pix of the place in my album if u want to see! Happy hunting!!!

Ok, you definitely will want to check out Lombardi's on the Sound in Port Jeff...

We went to check it out yesterday, very pretty grounds, very nice decor inside as well and a pretty drive all the way up. Oh, and it's only one wedding at a time!!!

Let me tell you the book you get of food to choose from is unbelievable!!! We met with Charles and he was very nice, not pushy at all. Not to mention that they are now doing a Winter Wedding Special that they have now opened up to November dates. Basically, get ready for this, 75pp for a Fri OR Sat night!!!! So I'm sure a Sunday would be even cheaper!

The only reason we didn't go with them was we weren't sure with our guest list if people were going to fit comfortably-they fit around 225 I think and we're currently around 265 so we didn't want to take the chance.

I have an authentic Italian family too so I was really disappointed when I heard the number of people they hold because I knew people would rave about the food quality AND quantity! But it really sounds like a place that would work for you! ENJOY!!!
