I think it's time to...

start looking at Reception halls!!!!


Any ideas on where I should start looking!?


It has to fit at least 200 ppl and have amazing food that will please your typical old school italians who are all about the food. lol

I'm biased but it's huge - plenty of space - and the food is out of this world!

The best wedding food I ever had was at Villa Lombardi's in Holbrook (I think)...there was SOOOOO much and it was so good!!!!

I think they can hold 200 people...but not sure.

Oh I already started working on it, don't fear! And as long as everything goes well next Friday (OMG NEXT FRIDAY) there will be a huuuuuge paragraph about how much I love NRC and everyone there. They are SO AMAZING!

Jericho Terrace! Both my FH and I come from strong Italian backgrounds. Our wedding is about 275 (invited) because our families are so big! But they have the Doom Room that holds more then 200 (you have to guarntee 200 I believe). They have AWESOME Italian food (their entire menu is pretty much Italian food from the CH to the Reception). It's INSANE! I highly recommend checking it out. There is actually a bridal showcase coming up.

Giorgio's! It's owned and run by a father and son team, who are Italian. The cocktail hour is 1.5 hours b/c there is SO much food. You get everything imaginable with it. I also like working with them b/c they are so personable and it is THEIR establishment. Their website photos are outdated, I think and do it no justice. Ck my album for more recent pictures I put up for someone. My FH is Italian and has a large family, so good food was important to us. Everyone I know that has been there has raved about it.

LOL, I hate when people only recommend their own hall, but if you're really making food top priority, and you're trying to get the old Italian folk on your side, def look at Russo's

I don't have Nov Sunday prices, but It was $125pp or $140pp for a Sat night in Sept based on what menu you chose, so a Sunday in Nov might be way more reasonable (not sure what your budget is)

If you're open to Westchester, take a look at the Surf Club in New Rochelle, it's all authentic Italian cuisine... amazing.

Love the Surf Club. Also try Beckwithe Pointe...the food omg....The Fountain Head. Marina Del Ray and Green Tree Country Club
