I think I've decided to go off the pill...

and DH says it's fine but we'll be using a different methond of BC....I just want to be ready when it's time to TTC.

Congratulations. There are so many other methods of BC out there. This way you will indeed be ready when TTC is right

My doctor told me yesterday when I went for my annual that you absolutely do NOT have to go off the pill for any extended amount of time before you are TTC.. I do not plan on stopping the pill until I am 100% ready- why go through the hassle? She said the only thing to do is take the Folic Acid.

I've heard the same thing...but when you're off the pill, you're more 'in tune' with your body thus more prepared for pregnancy (in that aspect). So I've (also) been told.

I am thinking of going off also, but I am nervous about getting pregnant before I am ready... How long until you are going to start TTC? I was thinking of going off in June and TTC in August.

AliKing...stopped it this past cycle and probably not trying till the holidays...who knows....it all really depends on when we get our house down in Georgia....
