I think I've found my wedding ring!!!!!!!!!!
This has been a looooooooooong search... I knew I wanted something a little unusual and unique, and I also needed something custom made to fit properly underneath my engagement ring... so it's been a long list of rings I've seen that either I liked but didn't work with the e-ring, or worked with the e-ring but I didn't like, or I kind of liked, but didn't LOVE...
This, to me, is even more important than the dress, because I'm planning on staring at this thing on my finger every day for the rest of my life after the wedding.
So, a few weeks ago I contacted a woman who was recommended to me who hand-makes custom jewelry, explained to her what I was looking for, and asked if she had any ideas she could show me. Tonight, she sent me a few suggestions. Now, these are VERY rough sketches, so it's hard to visualize... but I REALLY think I love the first one. She describes it as a simple ring with a carved piece that sort of wraps over and around the main structure of the band... I'm thinking maybe I'll add a teeny sapphire or other stone right inside the curve of the sort of hook-like piece.
