I went dress shopping today - David's Bridal and Lillette's. And I must have tried on a billion dresses, some of which my mom and grandma loved, but nothing clicked for me, and in the back of my head I had this Priscilla of Boston dress I had tried on a month or so ago... and nothing could quite compare to it.
So, we decided to go back to Priscilla of Boston and try it on again, just to see if it was as good as I remembered... and it definitely was!
Originally I had decided it was too expensive and I needed to shop around a little more. It still is too expensive, but it's the only dress (after 5 bridal shops) that just makes me feel giddy, so I figure, screw it, just splurge for the dress.
At least now I've shopped around and I know it really is the one, so I don't feel so guilty as I might have if I'd just bought it the first time I was there.
We're going to go back on Saturday for measuring and all that, I didn't want to just make a split decision on the spot. Also, my dad needs to come see it, since he's paying.
it's beautiful! I love the back of it! I've seen that dress in several online stores...maybe you should check them out, they are usually several hundred cheaper than the actual stores!

really? I've looked and haven't found it anywhere online but the designers website. Can you point me to a website that has it?

i love that dress.. I love lace, let's just put it that way... beautiful! they have something similar at davids though.. a friend of mine is getting it.. did you look at that one?
