I think I've found my dress!

I went dress shopping today - David's Bridal and Lillette's. And I must have tried on a billion dresses, some of which my mom and grandma loved, but nothing clicked for me, and in the back of my head I had this Priscilla of Boston dress I had tried on a month or so ago... and nothing could quite compare to it.

So, we decided to go back to Priscilla of Boston and try it on again, just to see if it was as good as I remembered... and it definitely was!

Originally I had decided it was too expensive and I needed to shop around a little more. It still is too expensive, but it's the only dress (after 5 bridal shops) that just makes me feel giddy, so I figure, screw it, just splurge for the dress.

At least now I've shopped around and I know it really is the one, so I don't feel so guilty as I might have if I'd just bought it the first time I was there.

We're going to go back on Saturday for measuring and all that, I didn't want to just make a split decision on the spot. Also, my dad needs to come see it, since he's paying.

Isn't it gorgeous?

try netbride or gownfind they may be able to get you that dress cheaper than going to the actual pricilla of boston store

i love that dress.. I love lace, let's just put it that way... beautiful! they have something similar at davids though.. a friend of mine is getting it.. did you look at that one?

yep, I've actually had people point me to that one before. I was also at David's today and I tried on that dress... and honestly... they might look vaguely similar in the picture, but there really is a night and day difference. The David's one is nice, but it just wasn't comparable, in my opinion.
The only thing they really have in common are that they're A-line and strapless. Even the lace is completely different on them.

I looked around at those websites (and others like them), and they don't seem to carry Priscilla of Boston. Thanks anyway!

try calling pearls place. it is a bridal store in Louisiana. I called them to get a price on a dress and it was considerably less than whati was quoted here. i dont know what designer makes that gown but they have tons of different ones. someone on here reccommend me to them and it is worth it to try to give them a call.
