She had been doing really well for the past few weeks. Yesterday she went # 2 on the carpet in the den. Then my DH woke me up at 5.30 am to let me know she had gone # 1 & # 2 in her cage. We had to throw out her new bed. Then she went # 1 in the spare bedroom and # 2 in the hallway. This is just nuts!! I think she had a stomach thing. I called the Vet they cant fit me in today. Needless to say DH and I got into a huge fight. So now Sandy is in the bathroom b/c its the only place that we can clean up really easy.
She wont come to us on a good day. We always have to chase her down to put her outside, she thinks its play time. I am so pissed off right now!
Sorry had to vent! I don't know what to do.

I'm so sorry, it definatey sounds like she is not feeling well. Please let me know how everything goes with your vet.

Kathy - the vet is Brian lol. But I know they are busy. I am just freaking out.

Are you seeing him today? Let me know your appointment, I'll call them, give them a heads up it's you.
Also, be SURE to ask FOR BRIAN, say you are a personal friend of his wife's...and when you do see him, say you know me from LIW.

no - I work in hauppauge and have a meeting at 11. It would have to be later. I have an appointment for tomorrow already so if I cant get there today then tomorrow is ok. I forgot to ask for Brian though.

The office technically closes at 4:15, but would you be able to get Sandy there at 4:30, or 4:45? I'm going to call and speak with my DH and tell him to see you, but I want to first be sure you can get there for 4:30-possibly 4:45

I think he's booked solid, that's why I'm looking into after hours...if I don't get a call back in the next 30 min. I'm going down there (this receptionist forgets to give Brian messages, she's just really really busy).

I just spoke with him, and is there any way you or anyone, a friend, neighbor, can bring Sandy down to my DH's office before 3pm?
I explained quickly what was going on, and he said they will have to do some tests that may take a bit of time, x-rays, bloods...also, if you have a poop sample, bring it as well.
You can drop Sandy off, if you have to return to work, and they will take care of her and call you when it's time to pick her up.
