I think Sandy is sick! updated

She had been doing really well for the past few weeks. Yesterday she went # 2 on the carpet in the den. Then my DH woke me up at 5.30 am to let me know she had gone # 1 & # 2 in her cage. We had to throw out her new bed. Then she went # 1 in the spare bedroom and # 2 in the hallway. This is just nuts!! I think she had a stomach thing. I called the Vet they cant fit me in today. Needless to say DH and I got into a huge fight. So now Sandy is in the bathroom b/c its the only place that we can clean up really easy.

She wont come to us on a good day. We always have to chase her down to put her outside, she thinks its play time. I am so pissed off right now!

Sorry had to vent! I don't know what to do.

I just called my DH to see if he can take her. I am waiting for him to call back. I put a call into my Boss to see if I can leave early today also waiting for him to call me back.

I cant thank you enough for doing this for me. You are one of the nicest people I know.

Yeah they have funny personality traits. She is so good but she is so stubborn.

No problem...

You don't have to get off early, just ask if you can leave for one hour, go home, drop Sandy off, and go back. Whatever is good for you.

And when you go there, be sure to once again say you are a friend of mine, because the last time my DH saw you, I don't think he knew that you were from LIW, so tell him as well.

My DH is going to call me when he gets home around 1. He said he would try to take her. Hopefully his schedule doesn't book up for the day. If he cant take her then I should be able to leave to get her there b/4 3. My boss is pretty good about stuff like this and he is a pet owner himself.

Great, just be sure you get her there before three, they need the time to do all the tests to find out why she's so sick.

And if any receptionist gives you a hard time (which they won't, but you never know if someone is covering and they are not aware of my phone call), just tell them Brian said to drop her off by 3pm.

First I have to thank Kathy116 for helping me get Sandy into see her DH today. He is so nice and patient with all my stupid questions. Thanks so much!

Sandy is going to be fine. They didn't find anything really wrong with her. She just has an upset tummy & will have to go on a special diet. I am so glad its nothing serious. My DH is on his way to get her now.
