I think we need a FANTASY spinoff

Original post by JessicaM.

ok ladies...I know we are all hopelessly devoted to our gorgeous gowns...BUT, if we could choose another to wear, what would your choice be.

Post pics of your actual gown and thenyour second dress of choice...

it can be whatever you want it to be.

I would have to say Anita's dress. I dont have a pic, but its a Reem Acra.

My dress is beautiful though.. Im 100% satisfied with it.

Thank you, that is so sweet to hear!!!!! but your dress is as gorgeous as mine!!!!!

There were few dresses that I love but could not afford...they were in the $30K range....(maybe in another lifetime)..

And then here are photos of the gown I actually put a $$$ DEPOSIT down on originally. I was afraid that the detail wouldn't show as well in photos though since it took my professional editing just to bring out the detail in these pics. I will always love gowns though!

(I think ultimately it is not about WHICH gown we all choose, but how it makes us feel when we marry the man who makes our heart swoon!

My original lace gown made in Italy:

In my opinion, there is no dress more lovely and classic than that worn by Grace Kelly when she married Prince Rainier of Monaco.

Contrary to what you all may think, I am NOT, I repeat I am NOT a movie star AND being that I am not marrying one of the richest princes in the world (though he treats ME like a princess), I cannot afford to replicate the dress of Princess Grace.

I ALSO cannot afford my realistic fantasy dress (talk about an oxymoron) - the $4K Stephen Yearick which can be seen below:

ETA:
I tried that dress on. It was stunning, gorgeous, and HEAVY with all of that beading - perfect for my winter wedding. It even covered my tattoo between my shoulder blades. I totally could have carried it off and the dress shop would have chopped the price significantly had the sample fit. I was about one size off. DAMMIT. I wasnt going to bet on losing weight for anything over 2 or 3K!!!

I REALLY wanted Ines Di Santo's Dorothy, but since FI and I are paying for everything, I had to stay within my budget

As I continued dress shopping I would tell the salons, that I wanted a corsetted top with a box pleat skirt and a some beading/crystals. And then I found my dress, it is a Henry Roth.It has everything I want and more.

Ah yes, there was the first one I fell in love with that everybody but a few people hated and questioned. Actually, one of the brides here is wearing it.

Then there were 2 more gowns I fell in love with AFTER I ordered my gown, but of course, it was too freaking late. I guess I just continued to torture myself.

However, after I saw a very CLEAN version of my gown (as opposed to the dirty sample at the place I bought it) I fell in love with my gown all over again. It sparkles like you wouldn't believe, something I didn't notice originally.

The 1st one was my first choice, by Mori Lee, about $575

The 2nd (Maggie Sottero) and 3rd (Lady Roi) ones were the ones I fell in love with after I had ordered

The 4th one (Moonlight Couture) is my actual gown which is due in Nov. 20th!!
