I went to the dentist today because my tooth was bothering me and I figured I had a cavity. Turns out I had to get my wisdom tooth pulled!!!! Now I'm sitting here looking like a puffin I hope it's all healed my Saturday - I'm flying to Miami and going on a cruise for a week

Ugh you poor thing!
Mine were so impacted they gave me percodan after.
Eat a pudding. Take a percodan. Sleep like the dead for 4 hrs. Wake repeat for 5 days!

Omg... I am so sorry for u...
I feel ur pain... But i got Worse than U...
They had to take out FOUR of them at the same time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They knocked me down completely.... I coudlnt eat/drink almost NOTHING for 5-6days!!!!
I was swollen n coudlnt talk!
I took off from work whole week!!!!!!!!!!!!

Omg, the same thing just happened to me last Friday, 2 weeks before my wedding !!
I just had to have one pulled. Thankfully, I'm barefly swollen but I'm in BAD pain. I've taking heavy doses of motrin and vicodin for days. I'm all bruised and red along the gum line. Can't believe this happened 2 weeks before my wedding. Hopefully, it should be much better by then

Oh no, that stinks I hope you feel better soon! I had 2 taken out at once and they knocked me the F out!

DO NOT DRINK FROM A STRAW OR SMOKE CIGARETTES (OR ANYTHING FOR THAT MATTER)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
very important. you will get dry socket and want to die.
for now, just ice it - 20 min on, 20 min off - and eat mushy food. and take tylenol.
you'll be good in a couple days.

Oh..but at least you will not have the pain but I agree with the no straw, cigarettes (really no sucking )
