I THOUGHT I WAS NOT READY FOR A CHILD

But my husband thinks so - After we drove back home we stopped at the pet store and picked up the newest addition to the family. He is a Shi-Poo - and guess who is not a dog person but is stuck home all day with a crying puppy - Ladies pray for me!!

honestly, i always had cats before and never had a dog... i thought it was going to be a ton of work and really time consuming-- it took a good amount of work, don't get me wrong- but it was so amazing and rewarding-- it was the best thing we EVER did. she is like our CHILD and i'm so attached. i went through the 'omg i want to take her BACK' once or twice in the first two weeks or so but once we got a 'schedule' down and a routine-- she is just wonderful. i always say i don't know what i did before she came along she literally lights up our life every single day and makes us smile/laugh ALL the time.

so- take it from me- you will ADORE having a dog!

good luck and congrats-- get a couple of good training books and ask your vet for advice/tips-- they were actually the best resource we could have asked for.

also-- what is the dog? a mix of a shitzu and a poodle?? or is a schnauzer and a poodle? the dog looks like it has a lil beard going on-- like char! so i was wondering. either way, it is non shedding b/c poodles are non shedding-- you will LOVE that!!! char is the same!!
