I took the plunge and got the pink and white acrylics

and I LOVE IT!!!

I had only ever done the UV gel before, I have to say I really like the pink & white a lot better.

I was being a little bit of a pain in the a.ss to the lady, but I am really particular with my manicures, especially because I'm not into long nails and I'm particular about the shape.

I even had her put a coat of 'It's Delicate' by Essie over it, so there wouldn't be such a contrast between the pink and white..

It was well worth it!! I'll definitely have these for a while, especially the wedding.

PS if anyone's interested, I get my nails done at Unique Nail & Spa on Merrick Road in Lynbrook. I sent Alisha (A Future Bride) there and she was really happy as well.
They do everything fantastic, whatever type of manicure you like.

I have never heard of this??? So those are your nails? THey put uv gel on top?
Sorry for the questions but I love the way your nails look and I am torn for what to do for my wedding.

Its a white tip, with pink powder (you ask for pink & white acrylics) and they put a coat of uv gel on top.

I kept making her go shorter and shorter

I just got a mani-Q? I will let you know how my frenchie holds up on the HM...if its good, its mani-q's for life!

Beautiful I love pink and white. With UV is last so long it's my favorite!!

yeah those look great! I love the color AND length!

and they really stay for that long? I need to do that bc my manicures last for like TWO days!! though the one I did for my wedding was great and lasted for close to 10 days which is an ALL time record!

They look great....I do the same but like you I like them on the short side and I prefer that shape to what my place does. All I can Say About That Diamond is WOW.... ct?? Good work girl.

when I get the UV done they last for about 3 weeks (sometimes more!). i used to get the gel tips with the uv coating and it lasted much longer than acrylic and didn't damage my nails as much. not sure if it was the UV or the gel tips that had that effect, but I've had them off for a little while and I'm missing them!

I just notebooked this, because I need a really good nail salon to go to for my wedding day nails, my salon is ok for my normal mani/pedi, but they don't do outstanding work
