it was the weirdest thing...i was going to adult day care for my nursing class and on the way there i passed a bridal shop so on the way home i stopped in just to 'see' what they had.
next thing you know i'm in the dressing room with the girl trying on dresses!! haha...has anyone ever heard of da vinci? i tried this dress on today....but it didn't have a sweetheart top.
How did you like the dress? What other styles did you try on?

it was a little uncomfortable b/c i'd rather have my moh helping me get into dresses but other than that...it was nice to just see what 'I' thought for a change instead of everyone else's opinion.
this way when i go back i know what i like and no one can talk me into something or sway me towards something i didn't pick out. i dunno.

i tried on a cap sleeve which was different for me...but i don't like the feeling of something hanging off my shoulder...its like that annoying brastrap feeling...but it was still pretty. they didn't really have that huge of a selection so i only tried on four dresses.
one had these beaded straps and that was really pretty but again uncomfortable. and the other was just too plain and it wasn't flattering in the hip area...the one i posted is drop wasted and those always look good on me.

i really did like the dress..in fact she wrote it down in my 'file' so that when i come back we'll know which one it is that i want to show everyone...
at this point i don't think it is 'the one'...something about the pickup skirt...sometimes they look sloppy but this didn't...i really love the dresses in my album though...and i'm in love with the monique luo but can't commit to it yet!!
i still want to try on maggie sottero dresses before i make any kind of decision!!

I heard of DaVinci. They have beautiful dresses. What most people don't know is that DaVinci dresses are the same exact dresses as Oleg Cassini's dresses. Basically, DaVinci creates the dress and puts on the Oleg Cassini label. That is a gorgeous dress though. I am thinking of trying a few DaVinci dresses that I saw online.

soo funny you say that, I thought I would hate the pick-ups but when I tried a dress on that had them...I kinda loved it haha...showed them to the FH just to see how he fetl about them...his response was not so fantastic but I think he'll like whatever I wear ultimately anyway...
Maggie sottero--> love her gowns, some of my top choices are by her...keep me posted :)
