I tried on gowns yesturday

I called The Wedding Center in Lynbrook a little over a week ago to see if they had this gown in that I really wanted to try on. I gave them the style number and everything. They called me back 3 days later and said they had it so I made an appt. They called me on Sunday to confirm. I got there last night and they had 6 gowns put aside for me and none of them were the one that I asked about prior. So I asked them if they had it, and the lady I spoke with said no, we carry the designer but not a sample gown to try on. I really wish she would of told me this prior because I really wouldn't have taken the 40 min drive to lynbrook. I would have to just called other places. But To make a long story short, I did stay and try on some other gowns, they were nice but I had a bad vibe from the place and dont think I would go back. Pretty sad for the first time huh?

I'm so sorry to hear that! Why would they say they have the dress when they didn't!!?? Yeah I'm not sure I like that place either! Keep looking though, you'll find it and you'll love it!

I dont understand why they would tell you they had it and then not have it? Silly wedding people! I am sorry you had a bad experience.

I actually made an appt for Thursday at Princess Bridals. question: when is everyone going to book flowers? I think I want to wait unitl the 1 year mark. What do you girls think?
