I don't typically like to complain or rant but I am sad. First of all the place would not let me take pictures of myself in the sample until I purchased the dress, at the time I understood their point, sort of, but now I am pissed becasue AFTER I ordered it I didn't like the way the medium slip looked in the pictures!! i had a hem to hollow measurement so it came in measured to a medium slip. I also told them to order me the 8 but since my hips were a 10 they insisted and the dress is now too big so the corset is so narrow and there is still room inside which they said shouldn't be taken in ARGH!!!!! Now I am left with a dress that is too short, too big, and the corset too tight
I would have to wear flats with the bigger slip!! Tell me what you think. The first pic is the medium slip (sample, thats why it's so long) and the others are my real dress with the big one.
Complain, ask to speak to a manager. They can rerush you a dress. This is something I would go to management with. Good luck

Can you wear the big slip without flats? I know from all brides the day of your wedding your hem falls a little.

oh my god that's aweful!!! I'm so sorry that happend. Where did you buy it? But to answer your question, I would get the bigger slip to fill out the bottom. It looks like it's sagging on you with the smaller one. Don't worry you will look beautiful no matter what!

I bought it at Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point, they have been so wonderful so far, until of course they have an unhappy customer. Now they are like 'we can probably take out some of the pick ups t give you added length.' Why should we have to do all that???

the dress is beautiful!! You do need the big slip though. If you are unhappy, have them rush order you the right size... they are the ones that messed up. good luck

I'm sure you're more focused on what isn't right about the dress right now but I think you look so beautiful in it! A good seamstress can take care of the hem, mis-sized bodice and anything else you're not 100% happy with - don't worry too much, just look at those gorgeous pictures!!!

I've gone back to look at it three times, and I can't see anything wrong with it! In fact, I see the exact opposite! I see an absolutely beautiful bride (and maid of honor... Rhonda looks beautiful!!!).
Unless if FEELS uncomfortable, you have NO worries about what it looks like... SOOOOO GORGEOUS! No crying icons!!!

I love the bigger look on you. I don't see any 'flaws' at all (width, corset, etc.)

I'm sorry about your issue I had a similar issue with my dress which I'm unhappy about. Wearing flats shouldn't be a problem, no one will see your feet anyway and you should be comfy! You need the big slip with that dress (I tried that dress on too) Its not supposed to be a flat dress, it's a big princess dress. I would talk to management and annoy the hell out of them as much as you can to see if they do something...lol XOXOXOXO Kitty

Fanatasia is amazing so i'm sure any problems u have will be fixed....your dress is georgous - and personally, wearing flats will be SO much more comfortable anyway... if u wore high shoes, they'd probably be off by cocktail hour anyway - i know thats not the point but i'm sure everything will be fine - the problems will be fixed and u will look stunning no matter what!

I agree that Fantasia is amazing and by wearing flats you'll be sooooo comfy. I think that you look sooooooo great in it.

First of all - the dress is beautiful and you look stunning.
That said I don't think you should settle. This is your wedding dress! I see what you are saying about the corset being too big - it looks like if you lose a pound the dress will slide right off. I also agree that the dress looks better with the bigger slip. I know a lot of girls are posting how comfortable you would be wearing the flats - but I think it stinks that you have to wear them to accomodate the dress. You should have the choice.
I would go back to them and tell them how unhappy you are. And bring a friend/mother someone to help with being your advocate. A lot of the girls are saying this is a great place to deal with - probably what you should start the conversation with - so give them a chance to live up to their reputation.

First of all let me say that you look stunning and the dress is beautiful. If you are unhappy with the fit of the dress and there is nothing they will be able to do to fix it they should be on the phone getting another one rushed. This is their mistake, let them figure it out .......please let us know how it works out.......good luck

have them remove just some of the crinolin from just the front of the slip just SOME that will bring it down a bit but still leave body on the sides and the back good luck
