I tried on my dress w/ pics on Saturday and..............
I dont like how it looks on me it was too big, which is a good thing, and the top was supposed to have a built in corset which it didnt and it was missing the bling factor. There was also embroidery on the front of the dress which I didnt want. They are sending the top back to get remade. My wedding is in 6 weeks but they said it would only take 2 weeks to get remade. I dont know I feel down about it and I got soooo stressed that I decided to buy another dress just in case I dont like this one from ebay.
Am I being crazy??????????? My FSIL said the dress looked great and I shouldnt buy another one since the one I have is MY dress. I just dont know. I know most girls are sooo happy to try on their dress and such but I wasnt

i am so sorry your fitting didnt go as well has you hoped! but stay positive if they say two weeks i think they will be able to fix it, u also at least have a back up i know its not what you want but try to enjoy the fact that soon enough it will fit the way you dream!! i went to try on my dress and it was tighter then i would like!! i was so upset , i left there in tears, i was so depressed i vowed i never eat again, then i remebered the one thing i hate (my big ***) is the one thing FH loves about me! Im sure you could walk down in a paper bag and Fh would still be excited to call you his wife! Hope all works out!

I know I am trying to not think about it too much and it is just a dress but I want to feel great in it and hopefully it all works out. And the straps were too big and didnt look right so I am having a bolero jacket made to match.

I think your dress is beautiful! I also think that once they fix the top part and it fits you better you will fall in love with it again. Can they remove the embroidery that you don't like?

I say stick with your dress .. I think it already looks beautiful and with the work they will do I am sure it will look even better. . honestly. I will try to find before and after pics from when I first tried on my dress to what it looked like with a few alterations b/c I was LITERALLY crying at each fitting and contemplated buying a new one. I just HATED my dress and the day of after all. I loved it more than I could say. . so with 6 weeks to go. . I would just wait for those changes and you will look even more stunning!!!

I was so upset that I already am having another dress being made as we speak. I wanted to get another one anyway for the after party but if I like it more than it will be my main dress.

im so sorry ur not happy with ur dress...
i really think its a beautiufl dress and u look beautiful in it..i think its just hard for u to get the full effect cause the top is not right..once its done and fixed and it fixes u right u r going to love it!!!!!

I think once the alterations are made, it will be PERFECT. I like the embroidery on bottom.

Honestly after I came home from my first fitting I sat in my living room and cried.
It wasn't until I went for my last fitting and it actually FIT me that I remembered why I fell in love with it. I'm sure you'll feel the same way too!

The dress is stunning on you. they can fix anything, trust me. I had them fixing my dress on the morning of my wedding, seamstresses/tailors can do miracles with needle and thread. Take it for alterations, but I wouldn't go and buy a new dress now this one is beautiful!
