I tried on some dresses at Flowerama (Glendale) today. I am so upset because
I know what the designers are (Mon Cheri & Maggie Sottero) of the ones I really liked, but not the style. I looked online and I cant find them either. I kept asking what the style was and she told me the #s she had were paticular to the store, not the real style #s. Of course they do that so I dont go elsewhere to buy them.
I do want to go elsewhere BUT I also want to have pictures so I can show my mom and sister! (I went by myself). What can I do now???

oh im sorry...is there anyway u can go back and take ur mom and sister with you? u really should have someone with u..... can u do that?

Well my mom lives so far away and since these arent definite - it wouldnt be practical. I guess if worse comes to worse, which it is, I would have to do that.
But still, why arent these styles on the websites!?!?! I understand why the Mon Cheri might not be since the girl said it was from a brand new line, but the Maggie Sottero isnt on their site either. What the heck!!!

Maybe you can look on www.bridesave.com you can do a search on all the dresses by that designer... may you can identify it from there! Good luck!

That was the Maggie dress I wanted - but thats not it!!! And I thought it was the Dynasty but thats not it either!

The picture you posted is the Felicity and yes thats the one I wanted! BUT thats not the one I tried on in the store - it was a different Maggie. It looks sort of like it with the twisty thing - but the straps are different - they are not see thru - and the designs all over it are different - I dont know!!! I am so confused!!

I just have to say that these bridal shops are so stupid - with the internet now a days you can 99% of the time figure what dress you tried on.

I have the Felicity( ) and honestly there aren't too many Maggie dresses that have sleeves.. the ones Diamondgrlie posted might be the only Maggies I've seen with any sort of sleeve, Most of her dresses are strapless , there are some with spaghetti straps
I know I had a hard time finding a salon that had the Felicity dress to try on, until I finaly found a place in White Plains, Westchester ( I live in Westch.) I eventually wound up ordering it from Netbride and it was exactly the dress I wanted.. service was great, etc!
They also make the FELICITY in a strapless verison, so perphaps where you tried it on they messed around with the cap sleeves?

ETA: I posted this before I realize that you figured out which dress you tried on . The Moulin Rouge is beautiful also!

No I havent! I am rarely over there - I almost went to Joe & Johns but that would have been too emotional for me! It was my grandmothers hangout!
