i want a bigger room at rh hall what do i do?

so im in the saturnia room at chateau briand and i know the wall opens up to make the room bigger. do you think they will let me open the wall and use the entire room or are they going to give me a hard time? the room holds 225 people and when we saw it set up for 150 it was SOOOO crampt. we thought we were having 125 pople and now our guest list is at 215 so i really want to open the wall and use more space.

u think theyll let me or give me a hard time? do they charge extra for this?

You should contact your BM at CB -- they will be able to tell you if the wall can be opened -- they might want to charge more per person since now you are getting a 'bigger room' - or they might ask that you up your min. guarantee -- which if you have a ton of people on the guest list, won't be so bad.

Just give a quick call to them and see what they say!

I don't know much about how they book functions at CB, but I would imagine if they doin't have anything booked for that extra space seperately yet, that it wouldn't be a problem if you called and expalined you want more space. There's still a year until then, and I doubt they'd charge you more either as long as you meet their guarantee for that extended space, so the best thing to do is call and ask them (which I'm sure you've already considered, I hate when people tell me that when I ask for advice, lol)

When we asked our BM that, he said they would open it. So I don't think you would have a problem or get charged extra since it's part of the room. I would just suggesting calling your BM, who is yours?

i just called and they said next wednesday i can come and look at the other rooms! she said all the rooms are available and i can switch rooms if i want or i could just open up the wall. I think i rather just open up the wall because I really love the saturnia room. if we picked a different room the wedding would be a different time but we alreayd got our invitiations printed! so i cant switch the time lol
