I think they are super cool but 2 things are bothering me:
1 - my guests will be hovering over it and it will take a lot of time and attention away from the end of the night
2 - the cost

Re: I want a chocolate fountain!
My fountain was included in my package as a christmas gift so I was lucky...I don't think it would be a line around the fountain or people fighting over fruit to dip in...I have told a few people and my friend said she was happy to be at the wedding but happier about the choc. fountain Good luck with whatever you go with

Re: I want a chocolate fountain!
It didn't take too much attention away from anything important--it was at the end of the night after the cake-cutting. People were still dancing and everything. The cost was about $5 a person, but definitely worth it. Everyone still talks about it, while the favors and invitations are forgotten!

Re: I want a chocolate fountain!
They are nice, but they are 'the moment' and it's not like people will say 'oh, she didn't get the fountain'.
I have a few things I want on my cocktail hour, so I am waiting as long as I can to see if I have the extra $$$. Maybe you can do that
