OMG that is one huge BP!!!!!, we have 5 girls and 6 guys 2FG and 1 RB. My mom wanted me to ask my cousins but it would have just gotten out of hand, I wanted my sis and BFF's. Where are you going on your HM?

That's great that all your BM's have their dresses! My girls have theirs too. We are doing alterations elsewhere as well. I let each girl get their alterations done close to their home, so it's easier on them. The yellow sounds really nice.
I'm alittle hesitant about all the dresses being altered at a couple of different places...but as long as they are going to reputable places I'm sure it will look fine.

I definitely could have ended up with a bigger BP if my mother had her way...but sometimes you just have to put your foot down.
We are honeymooning in Hawaii...I CANNOT wait! I've never been.

That sounds like a great HM, we entertained the idea for a sec, but we love cruises, so we went that route and then off to Aruba for 5 days. Are the BM dresses cocktail length? Then I might have them done at the same place, mine are floor, so I figure they will all be fine. I worry, but I am pretty sure they will all come thru! I mean they are adults right?
Have you gotten to do anything fun yet like pick your menu or cake?

The dresses are floor length. I feel like some of my BMs need hand holding otherwise they will end up going barefoot to the wedding....
We did a cake tasting yesterday. We are going back and forth on whether we are going to use the cake from the reception or bring our own....I went the bakery our RH uses and the cakes looked like they were from 1980. They said if I show them a picture they can see what they can do...I'm not convinced.

We haven't finalized the menu yet...but hopefully we'll get to do that soon.

Can I ask which bakery? We are using Creat-a-cake. They are our RH's bakery. They are affiliated with Black Forrest and Benkerts. Benkerts alone has a great rep, but I loved the cake at the cake tasting. I also hear good things about Audreys. How long have you and FH been together?

The bakery that the RH is affiliated with is Erga's in Bethpage. We met with Mona from Cakes from Mona on Saturday and she seemed very talented...so we'll see.

Wow that seems so long to me. FH and I have known each other for 10 years but only dating a little over a year. My gosh by 3 years we could possibly have a house and a baby!!!!

We were dating 6 months so it was a shock but he said he knew and didn't want to wait. I knew too, just thought I was gonna have to be patient! Guess I was wrong. How did FH propose?

FH proposed on the beach by my parents house....I kinda knew it was coming because I picked out the ring 2 months before

We're using Flowers by Brian. I haven't seen a CP sample but I want to do mixed flowers...like sunflowers, roses, lilies, etc,

Right now...I'm going to say my invitations. I didn't make them but I worked closely with a designer to customized them to exactly what I wanted.
I'm enjoying DIY too...I did rhinestone BM tanks and bubbles with labels. I'm going to take a stab at a DIY aisle runner and programs.

Me too, I meant to mock up a new program tonight, but I got kinda tired, been REALLY tired all day, think I slept kinda crappy last night! I bought this emboss corner cutting thing, I thought it might make them POP!!!

Quick side question, do you think those aisle runners that are made of dryer sheet like material will hold a dark purple dye, do you think it would look OK? I don't think I can spend the money on a real fabric one, but I kinda wanted a dark purple one. I saw pics one and they looked awesome!!!!
