We got those as an Engagement gift at our party, and then we used them for our toasting flutes... aren't they beautiful?

I also loved them until i saw the display at Fortunoffs. I agree with Kitten that the glue was all yellowed and very visible when you looked into the glass. Let me know what the ones you find look like. I was so dissapppointed when I saw them!

we registered for the toasting flutes at macy's and my best friend just got them for us as an engagement present. i'm looking at them right now & i see no glue at all. i think they're absolutely beautiful!

I can chime in here, too.... My FSIL gave them to us as an engagement present. After I read this post - I went & got them out of the box. They look fine!!!! (Whew!) Anyway - I just have 6 more weeks to go 'til the big day. At least I know they'lllast that long!! If you like them - go get 'em!

I have them. They were given to me as a present and they were bought at Fortunoff's. I didn't notice anything wrong, but I will inspect them. Thanks for the warning, and I will let you know what I found!

Those are the toasting flutes from my wedding. One of my bridesmaids bought them for me and had them engraved with our wedding date.

I think Things Remebered in the SMithhaven mall. I just finished reading the rest of the posts and my glasses were nothing like the other bride stated when she saw it.

I have seen them before online but I cant remember the site. I just remember how I admired them.

I'm sure they the fortunoff display is either old or was damaged.

I saw them at Fortunoffs yesterday, and thought they were gorgeous. I must admit though, I didn't inspect them too closely, as we were leaving the store at the time to make a dinner reservation, but they looked good to me.

Edited to say I'll be sure to check them thoroughly now, though, thanks to this warning! THANKS!
