I want to back out and Elope - LONG

Hi Girls. I had a horrible night last night. First, I went to go for my final fitting and it was an absolute nightmare. To try to make this long horrible story short, I bought my dress at David's Bridal in Carle Place....need I say more. My appt. was for 6pm. When I arrived w/my FMIL at 5:45 they first told me that they lost my bra when I specifically called ahead of time to make sure it was in. Then the girl was trying to get me to take another bra, one that was way too big for me and used. I insisted she find me MY bra and that I wasn't leaving until I had it. She finally found it after 45min. Then I go to the back to try on my dress and they told me to wait 15 min. Well, 15 min turned into 2 hours. It turned out the seamstress was altering my dress right then and there!!! I was mortified !! When I tried it on, it looked terrible. I wanted to cry. It was an absolute nightmare.

Yesterday was our cut off date for rsvps and I get a response from FH's cousin and 'her' baby !! I specifically told them NO CHILDREN !! The only children invited are our nieces and nephews. On top of that, FH's brother (Best Man) who lives out of state, never responded on whether or not he was brining his children (he has 4) and we're still waiting for him to get 2 additional measurements for his tux. FH is so fed up and is refusing to call his brother. He feels that his brother should call and be on top of things. He's right. I feel so bad for him because he's so hurt over this. On top of that, the people he wanted to come aren't coming on the kind of one particular person and now this one person probably won't come because she just broke both of her feet!!! FH and I wish we could just elope and forget this mess ever happened. What happened to 'happy' wedding planning. It's been a disaster from the beginning all starting with my dad, who flat out refused to come to my wedding. Sorry so long, but I'm just so upset right now. Thanks for listening
