a video camera as part of his gift......i want to get a small one that we can take on our HM--one that won't get in the way and not be too heavy to carry around.!.....does anyone have any suggestions on a good one? tanks!

I saw some great ones at best buy, small and great prices. tehy also will beat any price that you would find somehere else..our camera is old and I want a new one for the honeymoon as well..check out best buy.,,their prices are hard to beat!

Canon makes great video cameras. The Mini-DV is awesome.
The best prices are at B&H Photo. They are in the city but you can order from the website. BH Photo

FH and I are buying one for our HM. We are going to buy ours through DELL, the computer company. We bought our computer from them and once the computer is payed off next month we are buying the camera. They have a great digital camcorder on sale, it is a cannon, and it is going to be $16 a month. I think its $600 all together. We like to pay things off. It is easier than saving.

I would recommend you do some research. My FI always talks about the best one, of all - he's a tech junkie- that is small, I think its SONY.
But if you look for forums on technologies you will find a lot of useful info.
But .. in any case, you just gave me a great idea for his gift! Thanks!

Thank you for the hugs, heres one right back at ya ! Okay, 2 from both of us.
I asked him and he said he saw it in one of those tech magz but he doesn't remember the name, We just moved and we threw all of them out.
