I want to cancel a catering hall--need advice

I found out that I am pregnant and planning to get married much sooner... I already booked a hall... does anyone know the cancellation law? or how is works

see if you can move up the date at the same place. They certainly can't argue with that. The same thing happened to my sister;s friend adn thats what she did.

I booked the hall, not even a month ago and only put down a deposit.... there is no way we can afford to have the wedding earlier....

Since you can't afford to have the wedding earlier... why don't you just do a ceremony and dinner with your close family/friends now and then save the big reception for the day you originally planned it. That way you can still have the wedding of your dreams.

I forget what the JT said about cancelling, but since it really is far in advanced, talk to them I am sure they will be able to book the date... let us know and congrats on the baby!
