When I choose my hall it was based on the fact that my fh and I would be footing the bill, But then, when I told my dad I picked a place, he said he wanted to come and see it. When we got there he left the $2,000 non-refundable deposit for me. A week later, he and my step-mom told us that they were going to pay for basically the whole wedding (minus a few minor things). Well, I went to Atlantica over the weekend, and I fell in love with it, and someone told me my hall looks cheap, witch it's not in my opinion, over $100 a plate. BUT I can't even ask my dad, right? That looks greedy... And he would be out $2,000.... I can't ask, right?

I've heard great things about your place! About the cheap comment...Please, the person who said it probably can't even pay to have a wedding there and is jealous. I had someone tell me that my hall was one of the places that they looked at after telling me how great her hall was. Like mines wasn't as great as hers, that's why she didn't choose it. But like I was once told, it's not the location that makes the wedding, it's the couple that's getting married. I went to a vow renewal this weekend and it wasn't fancy. We ended up having a great time and really enjoying ourselves!

They usually give you back your deposit..but if they can't sell the date then you lose it! I went to Beach club Estate...it's very nice!! I hear the food is good!
