I want to cry...

I didnt have a shower because my FMIL basically ruined it for me for wanting a 'Jack and Jill' thing.

I didnt get pictures of my first dress fitting because my friend didnt know how to work my camera...

Tomorrow is my second dress fitting and my MOH is coming into town but i just found out that she will be arriving in the afternoon AFTER my dress fitting (at 12:30pm). it's too late to ask another friend to come to my dress fitting now...

i am SOOOOO upset... the shower and fitting pictures were the only 2 girly thing I wanted to do and I dont get to have it.



oh and my RSVPs came back, I was hoping for a 100 head count but now we have more like 117+...

bring your camera tomorrow, and ask a store clerk to take a few pics of you..... that way you at least get the pics!



ps- I'm having a fitting too tomorrow! with
phyllis...... thanks for reminding me to bring the camera!

I missed the last part of your post until now about your headcount...

don't think of that as a 'problem'... actually it's a blessing... there are a lot of people that must really care about you and FH.... it should give you a warm fuzzy feeling!! the money to pay for it always comes from somewhere.... so don't worry. It's not THAT far over your target....

Do you have another family member or BM who can come- your friends/family would understand...bring your camera either way and have a salesperson take pictures : )

Awwwwwwwwww Do not take it so close to heart Even if your Mom will not get to see you for ur 2nd fitting, she will be even more pleased & surprised to see ur dress at the wedding

I can't :( it was very hard to get a Saturday appointment

Bring your camera and ask them to take pictures. I am sure they'll be more than happy to do it. Just focus on how wonderful the dress feels on and that you'll be wearing it soon to marry the love of your life!

Why don't you try asking another friend or relative? I'm sure someone isn't doing something and they would be honored that you asked.

At the very least, you're MOH will be in later and you can show her the shots the sales girl took. You guys can admire you in your dress over some cocktails and that's waaaay more fun than doing it in a stuffy salon!

it's in the city...I cant really ask my relatives to make a trip out to meet me here on such late notice...

oh well.. no one will get to see my dress on me till the day of then!

One of the ladies at the shop can take a picture for you.
So sorry you have to go through this. I can't believe your FMIL is trying to ruin your experience! That's just flat out wrong!!!!!
