I want to do something creative for place card holders

I am getting married in October and I want to do place card holders. I want votive candles to be involved but I want a fall them to it. I like the ideas of the leaves that I saw on here but I have no idea how to make those and then attach to the votive candles. Any ideas anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

How about putting the votives inside a pumpkin? Or what about wrapping a leaf around a votive and writing the name on it? Or you can get vellum paper with leaves on it and use that...

You could do the votives with a brown ribbon around them and leaves printed on them from your computer.

The link above is my placecards that my mother is making but she is adding stuff to them. Anyway I have seen votives with vellum leaves under a piece of white vellum which have the names printed on them. YOu can make big leaves by buying the leave punch outs at ac moore or michaels. They are about 10.00 and they come in different leaves. Hope that helps.

Have the florist creat a 'tree' with all fall color leaves. Glue the card on to the backs of the leaves or hang them from the branches of the 'tree'.
