She said THERESA how dare you book your wedding the week b4 Christmas its so hard on me..

I told her STAY HOME.. I don't need you in BP or even there..

She has 697 days to save..

You're not nutz!!! She's nutz! I've never in my life ever heard of anyone giving the bride and groom-to-be so much grief over things that they shouldn't have a say in to begin with. I swear there's got to be something in the air.

I can never understand how people think you consider them when you are setting a wedding date. Besides our parents I could care less who didn't make our wedding and that was the BP included.

No way, she is nuts! I can't believe how many of you have to put up with this kind of nonsense from your families and friends. I can't imagine complaining about a wedding a week before Christmas. That is such a beautiful time of year. I would think that a marriage celebration would enhance the season! Tell her to get a grip. Or just go with your initial impulse and smack her

I had a BM drop out because she 'couldn't afford it', 5 months before my wedding. I asked her a year & a half before hand. HELLO!
And she does have the $$. Can you say CHEAP?

Get this.. I was offered from Mom either to pay for wedding or house DP..

We picked house DP and we will pay for wedding.

So she said this!

Don't count your chickens, John and I paid 50,000.00 for our wedding and
we
only got back 17,000.00. People don't cover there plates and I had 5
people
that didn't show up and I still had to pay for them. It really ****s and you are so stupid.. U think people will give you nice gifts the weekend b4 the holidays.They will think u are a LOSER, theresa for being married during holiday season and your vendors won't be cheaper in Dec.. Wake up !

I am sorry but where does the cover your plate come from? I am clueless. I keep hearing brides complain about they didn't get enough back to cover the wedding. I have never heard this talk until I came to this board.

No gift I think is rude, but whatever people gave us we appreciated it. They are our friends.

I just don't understand.

If I were you, I would not waste the time of day on this chick...family or not...she's not worth the $.37 it costs to mail her the invitation, let alone be a part of your BP... you have too many negative people around you!!! They need to go!

If they can't be 100% supportive and there for you she does not deserve the honor!!!!

Throughout my life people always told me...now you will see who your true friends are. Whether it was graduation, work force, having a baby whatever...but the one area where I realized who my true friends were was my wedding. I lost so many friends who I thought were my best ones and others proved to me how much they cared when i didnt think they did at all. She is toxic...thats what mom told me about a couple that dropped out of our bridal party..and it hurt so much at first...but ya know what?? Now that its all done...Im so much more at peace not dealing with them or having them in my life. Your friend sounds like my ex friend...JEALOUS!!!!!! You r better than that...and god knows..tougher!

Suck it up and move on..shes not worth it and if shes not in it...its her loss...she will realize when its too late..you do WHAT YOU WANT TO DO...its your wedding...NEVER FORGET THAT!
