I want you all to do something . . .

close your eyes ( after reading this post of course )

take a deep breath

and think:

'One day I will wake up and it will be my wedding day.'

I don't care if your wedding is over 600 days away or only six days away. It will come here before you know it. It sounds so cliche but I thought this at various times throughout my two year engagement. Sometimes, i would giggle and think 'whatever, i still have so much time left' and sometimes it would hit me.

I have spent two years ( well really 25 years ) thinking about what i would feel like at that very moment - and I just really wanted you all to take a minute to think about that and to try to imagine what that will feel like.

That is why we spend all this time planning, perfecting every detail, dissecting every decision.

So just think of that moment, because it WILL get here and when it does, you won't believe how quickly it came and a little part of you will STILL think that this must all be a fairy tale and you really can't be marrying the man of your dreams on this very day.
