As of right now I dont have anyone walking me down the aisle...my dad nor my mom is in my life well pretty much all my family is not here...I was totally cool with this and such and I felt empowered to say that I am bringing myself to my future husband but I feel a little sad
I dont know if I should just move on with my life and get over it or actually have someone walk me down...I have my hs teacher who was the most like a father figure to me and he would be the only person who I would want to walk me down...
I dont know what to do....its getting so close to the wedding and I am torn...

i think he would be honored.. and if not him any person male or female close to you in your life, even if it is your best friend... anyone would be honored.

Cindy I think your HS teacher would be honored. If he is willing then I would ask him to do it. If for some reason he can't do then try not to let it get you down it's just as beautiful a bride walking herself down the aisle.

Seriously this hasnt even been an issue for me until it just hit me as I see the clock tick down and I dont know why I am even bothered.
I am going to talk to fh and tell him what I think and maybe its just my nerves coming in but who knows....

I agree with the other girls..you should ask your HS Teacher. Another option would be to walk down the aisle with your MOH. I watched I Love You Man last night and the girl had her two MOH's walk her down the aisle and it looked sooo nice!

First off you are NOT a baby. There is nothing wrong with your feelings. They are legit so dont put yourslef down for them.
I think your teacher would be honored. Ask him.
Do you have a brother? Uncle? Godfather? What about your FFIL?
Pick someone who means something to you and who you love. It does not matter who they are, but what they represent.
I think a teacher is an AMAZING choice!
Dont get down about this, it will be ok and you will make a great choice no matter what.
And consider a woman. If you have a close Aunt, sister, cousin. Someone who supports you 100% and loves you. Liek I said it matters not who walks you down, but what you feel for that person.
Im so sorry you are feeling down.
But I lost my sister a few years ago and you are getting married on her Birthday! You will be watched over, dont you worry!

there is NOTHING wrong with walking down alone..nothing at all
now asking you frend is a great thing,butmake sure its cause u want to ,not cause u feel like u have to
just a quick question..do u have an sisters..it does not have to be a man..when my aunt got married(she i 20 yrs younger than my mom)and both my grandparents are dead,my mom and my aunt walked her down the aisle and it was amazing

You are NOT a baby. Do what makes you happy. If walking in by yourself makes you happy then do it. If walking with your teacher makes you happy then DO IT. Whatever you are happy and comfortable with!
