Re: I was asked to be a MOH
that's real nice honor. when me and my younger sister was the bridesmaid in my sister's wedding, we helped the moh plan the bridal shower and b-party. We also went with our sister dress shopping.

That's so exciting!! Just remember when you were a bride and it will be easy to be a great MOH. I was one a very long time ago for my sister and had no idea what I was doing! I think she was happy though. I'm sure you'll be great.

Ty so much. Do more MOH's give speeches these days? My DH is the Best Man so I'm sure he will cover how we both feel!!

Re: I was asked to be a MOH
I was a MOH for an OOT wedding so I could only do so much. I did go up to Boston for dress shopping and held a NY shower for her extended family that still live here. I also arrived a few days before the wedding to help with last minute details but I had the time off since I am a teacher and it was a summer wedding.
Yes, I gave a speech before the best man. It was very poignant as we have ben friends for 20 years. I remember the BM whispering to me, 'Now how am I supposed to follow that?!'
