I was at Michael's earlier

I was at Michael's earlier

while waiting for my Chinese takeout order.

they have such GORGEOUS Fall things for sale. but I am so NOT creative. I couldn't think of anything to do with this stuff

they had this really nice square shallow basket lined with linen which was decorated with Fall leaves. but I couldn't think of a use for it! we're not doing programs or petal cones. oh well.

Me either girl, I am SO not creative. Shoot, I can't even cut a straight line with a scissor.

I get the ideas and tell my mom to make them.

She does all my scrapbook pages and now Ive 'comissioned' her to make curtains for my classroom

Michael's is evil and makes me feel guilty for being so un-crafty!

As for the basket...are you doing bathroom or slipper baskets? That would be cute and no decoration needed.

hahahaha - I wasn't born crafty but it was in me and brought out with some help from my friends

Now I have my own little craft supply box and everything. I think it is really relaxing and reminds me of being little doing arts and crafts so I find it fun. But without a good teacher it is hard.

I'm soooooooo no crafty either! A friend of mine found silk fall colored maple leaves in Walmart - 80 to a bag for 88 cents, they are so cute! I'm thinking of using them to decorate the place card table, my cake table and the around the centerpieces.

I bought pressed/dried fall leaves for my 'leaf boys' who are going to scatter them down the aisle in lieu of rose petals.

I LOVE the fall, and was so excited FH proposed when he did! I've dreamed of a fall wedding my whole life!

I can't believe how close it's getting!!!!!

I just got back from Walmart and bought the bags of leaves! you were wrong about the price though. they were 86 cents a bag (for 80 leaves!)
