Earlier today I was so upset b/c I found out the place I wanted to have my wedding was going to charge just 4,500 for the ceremony location at the chapel on the lagoon of the hilton hawaiian village. I really had my heart set on it, the pictures are beautiful and FMIL keeps telling me how nice it is. Well the price is not nice at all. I had no idea. Well FH called the Sheraton Moana and they actually spoke to him, hes from hawaii so they are a bit nicer than to me a girl from NY. So it turns otu that the Sheraton will be a lot less and will only charge $500 for the ceremony location which overlooks the beach in Waikiki. I think I am finally coming to terms about not getting married at the Hilton. and getting married here instead on the terracehttp://www.moana-surfrider.com/wed_ipix.htm

Well we are going 'home' well home for FH and we have a date booked to meet with these people. We are going to not go to the Hilton anymore b/c that chapel price is just so ridiculous and I don't wanna get bummed about it. We are also going to go to the Turtle Bay resort which is one the north shore of Oahu (might be too far of a drive for our OOT who don't know the roads and will prolly be staying in Waikiki, I don't wanna make them move locations, we'll see.
We definitely made a lot of headway today. I don't know if it is just that its much closer to the wedding and that they are more likely to listen now that its closer or if its b/c FH called and he is from Hawaii
Who knows. All I know is that I am super excited
