I was Calm

and now FH is on the phone with his BM talking about drinking vodka in the limo on the way to the ceremony.

He is planning on going out with his entire bridal party tonight, and I asked him not to drink, and got nowhere, and now this!!

Try to relax - YOU ARE GETTING MARRIED IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS! Today should be a day of R & R. I am sure he won't go too crazy if he goes out tonight. Good luck & congrats

That's it, woman. I'm dragging you out of the house tonight and we're going out for a few!!!!

(Only if you want to of course. DH and I are locked into dinner with his friends until around 9 or 10)

And don't worry about Jay, he is not stupid and will not do anything to jeopardize tomorrow, if he wants to have a drink its to calm his nerves.

I had the same issue and everything worked out fine. They drank in the limo. Then it turned out that they knew one of the bartenders at my hall and even got them to serve alcohol early The drinking really didn't affect anything, except that it helped one of the GMs through an awful toothache and it made one of my BMs smile a lot more than usual (she's not always a happy person). I almost freaked about it but it turned out to sort of be a positive thing. It really didn't hit most of the guys until the after party.

Mine drank in his limo, my girls drank in their limo, the only person NOT drinking in their limo was ME. Ha.

Anyway, don't stress over this, just relax. Your FH is not going to get so drunk that he is not going to be able to function, let him and his BM blow off some steam, everything will be fine. Its not worth the fighting.

DH and his guys drank right up until the ceremony. Granted it wasnt vodka, but beer in very very very tall pilsners. They were all fine. Jay will be too!

Just so you know, we both had our nails done today so we can look all purdy for you! Just dont ask Ed about his knee - damn football team. Maybe he took the hit so Jay wouldnt have to! I may be dancing slow dances only!
