Duh I am a moron. No, I can't go this week anyway. I did screw up the dates but we ended up not going away.

GRR whatever. Then she proceeds to tell me how tired she is and how her baby is sick....okay I understand that. But you messed up the friggin dates! You don't mess up the friggin dates if you CARE to be there!

Whatever, I'm so done with her. She's let me down one too many times.

And we're gonna have an AWESOME time without her!!!

Grrrr, I hate it when there's always an excuse. I really understand about her baby being sick, but with everything else it seems like that could be an excuse also! You're absolutely right though... you'll have a great time anyway!!!

I'd write her back right away -- 'Oh, it wasn't this past weekend. It's Thursday / Friday. Does this mean you WILL be in town and can come? That would be so AWESOME!'

Lame. If she didn't wind up going away, why didn't she try to come?

Oh well. Some people just aren't into that stuff... so don't sweat it. You'll have more fun with the people who are there and who want to be there!

So sorry!!! I too am having friend issues!!! I know how it feels and it stinks!! Just remember have an awesome time and the people who really matter will be there!!!!!!!

Sorry about that. I have a friend that I've known for years that, just doesn't seem like she's happy for me and I'm sure will not be at my shower and then give me a lame a$$ excuse. She also mentioned that she MIGHT be going away the 2nd weekend in October. HELLO!! That's when I'm getting married!! And she's known this for over a year!!

I've accepted the fact that sometimes we grow out of our friends and have to break up w/ them.
