I Was Robbed Yesterday!

Ladies:
I took off of work yesterday and left my house about 12:15pm to go to a few stores. I was back by 2:30pm and my house was robbed. I think it was my cleaning lady because there was no break in and she's had a key to my apartment for almost 2 years...that's how long she's been working for us. She cleaned my house on Friday and came back yesterday, thinking I would be at work, but I wasn't. I think she had an accomplice and they watched me leave the house and went in. Me and FH were saving our change for the honeymoon in an empty 5 gallon water bottle. It wasn't full, but there had to be $1,000 worth of change in there and there is no way she took that out by herself. She also took my Movado watch, Michael Kors watch, FH's Bulova watch, my Canon Powershot digital camera, FH's Sony digital video camera and 2 of our iPod's. That's all that I've noticed so far. My house was not ransacked or torn apart...someone knew where all of these things were....Bam...the Cleaning Lady did it....but I have no proof. Thank god, I insured my engagement ring, which means that I do have renters insurance...which I am so grateful for...but it's the point, ya know? For any ladies out there who do not have their ring insured or their possesions in their house, you may want to think about it. She knew we were planning a wedding....and she goes and robs us...LOSER...What goes around comes around.

Ladies:
My whole plan did not go as I wanted it to....I did not get to update this because I had to run my arse to the airport for my flight.
So, I sat on my landlord's balcony on the 3rd floor from 9:30am - 12:30pm. At 12:30pm, I had to start packing and jump in the shower. As we were getting ready to leave for the airport, the cleaning lady came at 1:15pm. I love how she told me she would be there in the morning and that's what time she showed up. FH made small talk with her, while I was in my bedroom calling the detective. The detective told me that he would be right over and guess what....he never came. He went to court instead....hello...I live 2 blocks away from the precint...he told me he was coming and then decides to go to court and not send anyone in his place and the cleaning lady started cleaning my house...it was a really bad situation. I had to go to the airport and here I have her in my house starting to clean and no cops are coming. So me and FH had to confront her and tell her to leave...I couldn't do anything else, because I had to leave. She put the water works on and blah blah blah....but I was in such a bind that she just had to get out, so I can leave already. It was a horrible situation and I had such bad feelings about the whole thing, but it is what it is and we just had to accept our losses and move on. It's unfortunate that I couldn't catch her, but karma will come back and get her.

That is such a horrible story. I am so sorry you have to deal with that. What B.S. Yes, insurance is a God-send. I sort of hope it wasn't your cleaning lady. We should be able to trust these people. That's just so awful.

He flucked up the whole thing....arrgggh....It was so frustrating, because I spoke to him on the phone numerous times in a 2 week span and he just blew me off.
